I always had unpleasant experiences whenever i've to visit Vet Practice. And it was only when i had no choice, like when our regular vet at another clinic was overseas or when that other clinics are closed or that i had no time to travel cos Vet Practice is (unfortunately) the nearest one from my home.
The clinic is old, the air stuffy, bad odor, reeks of urine, uncomfortable seats, weak & stale air-conditioning, poorly-lit, unmotivated nurses, wrinkled uniforms, slouchy, the vets have untidy hair, rough, uncaring, impatient, poor communication skills, the office is not well-equipped, unhygienic, & has an unbearable stench.
Once, a sick dog vomitted at the reception area. The unsympathetic nurses shook their heads in disgust & then handed a mop to the owner to clean up the mess. Another time a dog urinated at the waiting area near the entrance. The attending nurse simply threw old newspapers onto the floor to soak it up & left the pile where it was. Unknowing clients then walked over the wet puddle, stepped into the clinic & that explains why the stink.
2 years ago my dog was suddenly panting heavily so i rushed him down during lunch hour. The vet told me she was going for her break & told me to leave my dog until the clinic reopen in 3hrs' time. I thought my dog didn't look right & told her it may be an emergency. She reluctantly examined my dog for all of 10 secs & told me she had to administer anesthetic to look into its throat. She then asked me to leave my dog there & pick him up at around 7pm.
I was mad & decided to rush to another clinic. When i hurried out she dashed out after me for payment. I told her she had done nothing but she insisted that i pay for full consultation ($30+). I paid for it cos i didn't want to waste anymore time. The whole visit was over in less than 10mins which my poor dog received no help.
Over at the other clinic, the vet attended to my dog immediately & suspected that he had some heart problems. He was found to have an enlarged heart & had fluid retention in his lungs.

Just wanna stay home
This morning there was a CNY party with lion dance & yusheng in the office but i dread such gathering cos i've put on (more) weight after the long holiday break.
I made up stupid reasons to take urgent leave so i can stay home. Then i b & p.
I heard some fat people on TV says they are ok & happy being the way they are. I must never think like that.

These days i don't stay for long in the office cos i hate feeling my fat tummy when sitting down.

Addicted to Holiday
After a long leave from 10 to 23 Feb, today i'm returning to work. I did not take D during that period cos i wanted to binge on CNY goodies. Last night i start worrying again so i took 1 tab & stayed awake the whole night. So here i am online at 5am. Firstly cos it makes my mind overly active & alert. Secondly cos i need to pee so much. My bladder is full every 2 minutes. Once i lay back on the bed i've the urge to pee again. I can probably fill 5 litres. No kidding. And i don't even drink much water. This is another side effect which i haven't mention. Oh, and also body aches especially on neck & shoulder.
Its time to wash up & get ready to work. Yawn, & NOW i'm feeling sleepy. Damnit.

Still FAT
FYI i am still F A T. My face is damn round! i've been eating & munching so much so that my jaws are hurting. I've only 2 tabs left & i've to find means to get supplies again. I so hate myself. Now CNY is nearing & i wish i'd drop dead by then so i don't have to face the pressure.
