I decided to visit Dr Ly after i read an article about him & seeing him on a TV documentary show. Also i was mad with Dr Heng when, on my 100th visit, she simply told me she "give up" & had no clue on whats wrong with my dog's ear infections!
For 8 months, my dog's ear was smelly, oozing pus & sticky discharge. Now i am soooo happy to see his ear pink & clean again. The surgery costs about $3000+. Yea, Dr Ly is a hero but also an expensive one. Lol.
I bet it would have costs less if not for his nurse overcharging me. He relies on this particular nurse to list & prepare the bill, & this woman overcharged for many items without consulting Dr Ly. Once, she added 'wound cleaning' after Dr Ly wiped my dog's ear with wet cotton to get a good inspection. And when i asked Dr Ly, he was like, huh? Take it out. There was no wound cleaning. And that 'wound cleaning' service was a whopping $58. There were so many other times when she added other items to the bill which Dr Ly would not.
Anyway, Dr Ly is great and so are most (if not all) of his nurses @ Balestier, except this particular one. I never catch her name but thats her below.
